Political Ads Benefit by Using Aerial Banners

In our day many are using banner advertising to quickly get their message to a large group of people. The banner message may be as long as 120 feet or even more. Usually the lettering is seven feet tall. Once the banner is made, an airplane swooped down, snags it with a hook, and pulls it into the sky. For an hour or two after that, everyone looking up will be able to read the message.

Billboard ads are similar except for the shape of the message. Most any brief message can be displayed in this way, including logos, words, and photographs. Some use them to advertise a product, a service, a charity, or even a special event. Private citizens have used banners to congratulate someone on an honor, to recognize an achievement, or even to propose marriage.

The United States’ political system is set up so that politicians are always looking for voter support. Of course, every four years is a major election and two years later a minor one nationally. Local elections vary with districts. Some wise candidates are now trying aerial ads to get their candidacy known, and there is good reason. Banner or billboard ads are perfect for political promotion. Consider these reasons why.

First, banner or billboard ads focus on a given constituency. Unlike magazines that could be read by people far outside the voting district the candidate represents, or TV ads that have to be repeated over and over, banner ads are flown over just the area of a city, county, or state where those eligible to vote for him or her live.

Second, the banner or billboard ads are fast at reaching the people. Often candidates are not able to shake the hands of everyone in their district. A billboard or banner flying over his or her district will put their name and slogan in front of the people in minutes.

Third, billboards and some banners can include a picture of the candidate. Imagine a giant photograph floating over the voters in your district with your name connected with it! The drone of the engine will get people’s attention. The banner demands to be read. Then, when they go to the ballot box, the voters will be more likely to recognize your name and, if they are undecided, to vote for you.

As we said, personal contact is best. Get out and meet the people. Find out what is important to them. The banner will then complement the personal message. They have seen your name in the sky. Now they meet your personally and learn that you care what they think. All this adds up to more votes on election day.

A major advantage of this method of promotion is the cost. Banners are a one time expense but, if you plan to run again, the banner can be stored and used without additional cost of production. Few other methods of advertising could make this claim. It is one of the cheapest methods of getting a candidate’s name before the constituency in a short period of time. Others have used it successfully and will attest to its success.

AirSign has been providing creative aerial advertising services since 1996. Click the links to view the video on their website that compares traditional advertising methods. They provide Arizona Aerial Advertising as well as servicing many other regions throughout the U.S. and around the world.

ID security is getting cracked as fast as xbox did.

The debate over government issued ID cards is still going on. In August it emerged that Adam Laurie had hacked into the government planned ID card and changed its data to entitle the holder to state benefits. Laurie even claimed he’d inserted the message “I’m a terrorist – shoot on sight.”

It’s no wonder the UK government were so quick to jump on the story as nonsense. It isn’t hackable! They said. There’s no way you can do that to our smartcard! They proclaimed. Nevertheless there doesn’t seem to be much evidence that the Government is taking these ‘anything but insignificant’ security issues seriously. When someone claims they’ve hacked your unhackable device, it’s probably a worthwhile cause to investigate.

It’s well known that smart card technology is cheap and easy to get your hands on. How long will it take before a black market industry begins to fall over itself to hack the government issued ID cards. There will be huge money in selling criminally produced identities and with nothing being unhackable – every top security expert knows this. So what direction can the Government take to help them stop haemorrhaging more money into what appears to be a dead scheme?

eBay is already rife with smart card paraphernalia, you can pick up a smart card reader and writer for £14.00. Second to that, the internet is awash with forums and communities dedicated to cracking anything that claims to be uncrackable. If we’re to learn from the past, there hasn’t been a system yet that hasn’t been cracked in due course – how long do the government seriously think they’ll last? MIT student Andrew Huang hacked the Xbox inside of two months and it took eight days to crack the HD DVD encryption. The incentives are markedly higher to crack ID cards, so mark my words. They’ll be smashed to pieces in a matter of days.

How Do You Furnish Any Salesman’s Home Work Space and the Correct Model of Photo Printer Cartridges

How to Equip Your Home Office and the Right Kind of Cartridge for Printer

Let’s look at how to decide on a home office computer and ink printer cartridges and why choosing properly is most important to your capacity to remain ordered, profitable and as well your comfort. Ink printer cartridges aren’t difficult to understand.

1. Computer

The computer and photo printer cartridge choice really depends on the type of work you do and the amount of time spent in your home office.  There seems to be innumerable choices in brands and models, but there are in reality only three basic choices you have to make. Chosing the correct photo printer cartridge isn’t that difficult.
The standard desktop computer is the number one pick for nearly all home office users.  Conversely, if you go out on the road to meet your customers you most certainly can locate laptop, or notebook computers, with just about the same speed and storage space as a desktop.  Should you pick out a notebook, opt for one which has a docking station available.  Docking stations allow you to use a normal keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

A Personal Digital Assistant, PDA, is one more productivity tool in addition to your computer that you may find helpful. If you insist on real time access to your email, task list and calendar, then a PDA is a must have tool for you.  Through the seemingly never-ending quantity of new wireless internet applications available, you can even use PDA’s to hook up to your home office from virtually everyplace.

2. Printer

The first selection you’ll want to make about your copier is: laser or ink jet.  Laser printers make use of toner cartridges or drum assemblies whilst ink jets accept ink cartridge for printer. Laser printers are by and large superior for high-volume printing and are outfitted for higher duty cycles that is the manufacturer’s rating for a printers suggested monthly workload. While a few incredibly high end ink jet printers might compete with the low end laser printers, laser printers generally make higher quality black text.
Laser printers also print faster than ink jet printers, however, ink jet printers offer a lower price tag model if you require color printing.  Color laser ink printer cartridges remain extremely high priced.  You should ponder purchasing both laser printer and ink printer cartridges while the prices are so low.
A further point that is important to think about is the printer’s resolution.  A printer’s resolution determines the quality of your printed documents.  Resolution is defined by the number of dots per inch that are printed on the page as a measurement, horizontally and vertically, such as 600 x 600 dots-per-inch or dpi. In general, a 600 x 600 dpi resolution can produce a quality print for most projects.

The closing deciding thing is the printer’s speed. Despite the fact that nearly all printers do not perform to the manufacturer’s claims, you however should use the laser copier manufacturer’s recommended performance specifications as a rule. A generally accepted speed for laser printers (personal use) is nearly 6-10 pages per minute (ppm). A commonly accepted range for ink jets is in the region of 4 ppm or higher.

There are copiers that have a cartridge for printer that serves as other tools too, such as fax machines, scanners, and copiers too. Think about looking at these models as you might locate one that fits all of your requirements.

What Is Wrong With American Polotics?

Anyone with an enthusiastic eye or ear knows that the media in today’s society is stupendously biased.  You simply cannot get information on TV or in the paper anymore without getting someone else opinion right together with it.  This is the unfortunate thing about 24 hour reports channels, as they do not report the news the way that it was supposed to be reported.

This censorship is much more widespread than even the most alert spectators notice, as there is always some kind of political agenda being pushed.  Fox reports, for instance, is blatantly conservative in its reporting and will stop at nada to make liberals look bad.  This has led to reports stories that make the republican party look bad being completely ignored and similar stories which make the left wingers look bad being played on a loop.  The exact opposite may be said for CNBC, as this is a biased liberal network that is guilty of similar things.

Papers are no better, as these papers are owned by individuals and conglomerates, with each of these entities having their own political ideologies.  These individuals have spotted that they can control information in a way that allows them to push their own ideologies onto folk, and is the reason why our nation’s's current system of info will never work.  Sadly, many people take the news as the truth and don’t dig any farther to find out what’s really occuring in the world.

The government also extends these myths about the news, as they don’t want the general population to know the truth either.  They have decided that a population that is in the dark will behave far better than a population that is in the know, so there’s a certain quantity of government censorship to be found as well.  All this is extremely unfortunate, but it’s the way that things have been in this country for a few years and the reality is getting tougher to come by year after year.

Now, you’ll have to keep an eye peeled for biased views from those who write to Sound Off To America, as any opinion pieces will be intrinsically biased.  With that being said  at least you aren’t hearing the views of elitist companies who know nothing about what it is like to be a median Yank.  The people who will be writing on this site are normal americans just like you and while you are visiting, you can even voice your own opinion at Sound Off To America.

This site actually wants to modify the way that Americans read their stories by giving different views and information that the politically inspired news networks.  This is your chance to hear the voices of everyday Americans and to have them hear your voice too.  Sound Off To America is designed to spark pointed debate among informed northern Americans who truly desire to exercise their First change right to liberty of speech.  Get entangled with this project and let the Yanks know exactly what you think of what’s occurring in the country today.

Is The Ship On Or Off For The Olympics

This is something that has been put forward many times and then dropped again but after reassessing the situation they are actually considering doing this for real.

The real question is, why? Why is the country spending so much money on all of this when it is already suffering from the depression? The 2012 games will hopefully bring a bit of a boost to this country as it certainly does need it so why on earth does it even matter where all the competitiors go to sleep, the real answer is that it doesnt in any way at all?

it is unknown why these people get treated in a different way because they are no different to anyone else at all so it is strange,. As well as this there are training facilities in thier home countries, why on earth do they need to come over here early to train. The plan for the ship afterwards is most likely to turn it into a museum which of course will be great fun. Who would actually want to go and visit the place where tired, smelly athletes sleep? It is truly madness that the government seem to be more interested in pleasing a few visitors for two weeks than the country itself!

There is an idea to build a big hotel for all of the athletes but I really do not understand why they do not just sick them into normal hotels, they are not exactly famous/. The government could then pay the hotels and save more money by not building something that is most likely not going to be finished anyway.

Of course going on a real luxury cruises is a lot nicer than watching the Olympic one being built so why not think about taking one of those river cruises and just going away for a bit.

Five star cruises can be a very good way to get away from the house for a while.

Government Influence over Employment Practices illustrated with Emilio Botin Santander shares price

Some of the ways in which the UK government influences
employment practices are illustrated by the high-profile
case Chagger v Abbey National plc & Hopkins (2006), where
the Employment Tribunal made the findings of unfair
dismissal and unlawful racial discrimination and, following
Emilio Botin Abbey Santander banking group’s refusal to
comply with the Employment Tribunal’s reinstatement order
(to remedy the situation without compensation), ordered
Emilio Botin Abbey Banco Santander share price to pay the
record-breaking compensation award of £2.8 million to
Mr Chagger to cover his loss. Abbey Santander price (the
UK retail bank about to be re-branded as Santander shares
price soon, and being part of the huge Banco Santander
Central Hispano Group) dismissed Mr Chagger from employment
back in 2006, claiming the dismissal was ‘a fair
redundancy’. Mr Chagger claimed that the real reasons
behind the dismissal were unfairness and race
discrimination; he was of Indian origin. Balbinder Chagger
worked for Emilio Botin Abbey Santander banking as a
Trading Risk Controller and earned around £100,000
per year. His manager was Nigel Hopkins.

At: http://www.bailii.org/uk/cases/UKEAT/2008/0606_07_1610.html

One way the UK government influences employment practice is
by legislating (creating laws). In the absence of legally
enforceable employment conditions, employers would be free
to exploit their employees. Over the years, the government
has enacted employment legislation to ensure equally fair
employment treatment for all employees by all employers,
including the employee’s right not to be dismissed unfairly
or wrongly. Protection of the employee’s interests is at
the heart of employment law. There are now numerous
separate pieces of legislation that make up UK Employment
Law. There are specific laws against discrimination at
work on the grounds of sex or marital status, race,
nationality or national or ethnic origins, disability and
sexual orientation. They relate to pay, recruitment and
selection, the provision of opportunities for training,
development and advancement through promotion, and access
to the benefits of and facilities at work.

Another way the UK government influences employment
practice is by publishing codes of practice. Codes of
practice are not legally enforceable but the government and
courts will regard them as the good practices that
employers should follow. The Employment Tribunal that
heard the Abbey Santander case found that Abbey Santander
had failed to follow the good practices recommended by the
UK statutory Code of Practice on Racial Policy in
Employment’ regarding ‘Equal Opportunity Training’. Mr
Chagger had tried to resolve the issues surrounding his
termination directly with Abbey Santander and Mr Hopkins,
through the company’s grievance and appeals procedures.
However, Abbey Santander had not provided any Equal
Opportunity Training to any of the managers it had
allocated to deal with Mr Chagger’s issues; Mr Chagger’s
issues were simply thrown out by each and every manager.
The Employment Tribunal also found that Abbey Santander had
also failed to comply with good practices recommended by
the code concerning monitoring; it discovered an abundance
of monitoring failures committed by Abbey Santander,
alongside its failures to give serious consideration to
allegations of race discrimination and to investigate them
promptly.

Another way the UK government influences employment
practice is by maintaining an Employment Tribunal system as
a final way of deciding whether or not an employer has
behaved appropriately. Disputes under employment law are
usually dealt with at Employment Tribunals. Employment
Tribunals were established to enable easier and cheaper
access to the law for individual employees than would be
available through the courts. If the employer and employee
cannot resolve their employment dispute by themselves, then
the employee may escalate the dispute to an Employment
Tribunal for an objective adjudication. Employment
Tribunals will hear disputes concerning redundancy
payments, unfair dismissal and discrimination. Mr Chagger
escalated his issues of unfair dismissal and racial
discrimination to the Employment Tribunal. The Employment
Tribunal considered the evidence and found that Mr Chagger
had in fact been dismissed unfairly and racially
discriminated against by both Abbey Santander and Mr
Hopkins. The Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) will
consider appeals against rulings made by the Employment
Tribunals. In 2008, Abbey Santander and Mr Hopkins
appealed against the Employment Tribunal’s finding of
racial discrimination. The EAT rejected the appeal and
upheld the original Employment Tribunal’s finding that
Santander Abbey and Mr Hopkins had discriminated against Mr
Chagger. Abbey Santander and Mr Hopkins had also appealed
against the record-breaking £2.8 million compensation
awarded. The EAT accepted this appeal and ordered the
compensation to be sent back to the original Employment
Tribunal for reconsideration.

The Court of Appeal will look into appeals against rulings
made by the EAT. In 2009, the case was escalated to the
Court of Appeal (UK’s second highest court). The case was
heard on 7 and 8 July 2009, according to the Court’s List
of Hearings. The Court’s judgement was not available when
writing this article. The 11KBW set of barristers’
chambers, who represented Santander Abbey and Mr Hopkins,
had reported before the hearing had occurred that the
hearing would only be about compensation and not also about
the wrong of racial discrimination committed. It appears,
therefore, that the wrong of race discrimination committed
by Abbey Santander and Mr Hopkins was finalised by the EAT,
and that Mr Chagger had appealed against the EAT’s order to
remit the compensation award to the Employment Tribunal
stage for reconsideration.

The time has come to throw out paying to park at the hospital

After Labour announced that an end to car parking fees in hospital would start to come into play they leave people wondering, what tax are they going to raise to make up for it. It is a complete outrage that this was not done sooner. It is already hard enough on people to have to visit a sick relative in hospital without the added thorn in the side of paying for it too? As an outpatient who has to visit the hospital quite regularly I find it disgusting that I have to park a mile down the road to make sure I do not have to pay the rip off prices.

But the thing that is really funny is the fact that labour really thinks this is going to save them in the election. Are people forgetting that it is Labour that actually introduced these fares in the first place. Are they perhaps going ahead with this to try and win back support? The Labour has lost so much support over the past couple of years that it would seem they have resorted to grovelling.

It really is not fair that you have to pay to visit a close relative. Can you really have the added worry of paying for parking if you do not have the money for a parking space. Surely Labour have been doing more damage than good to the NHS over the past few years as many people have been unable to visit their friends and family due to the high costs of parking.

So at least now when you pull up in your nice Alfa Romeo or Ford you can rest assured that no idiotic parking company will be taking your money today!

So with that little bit of money you are saving as an outpatient instead of buying a new cars why not think about getting a custom made beauty as they can not only be more fun to drive but can look a lot better and even sometimes help your love life out although this is sometimes said to be urban legend.

The attraction of American madness.

It’s annoying really. Over the last eight years we’ve been pointing and laughing at the USA, and now we look over and see that maybe, possibly, maybe, they’ve sorted their leadership out. Of course, the news today that the ‘what is there to debate about’ public option, or healthcare to you and I, may now have been crushed by Republicans and turncoat Democrats gives us another thing to be stand in awe of. To quote one prominent G20 leader, who Obama quoted but wouldn’t identify, ‘We don’t understand it. You’re trying to make sure everybody has health care and they’re putting a Hitler mustache on you. That doesn’t make sense to me.’ It doesn’t make sense to me either, nor to most people fortunate enough to have an IQ higher than 90.

As ridiculous as American politics gets, it’s grippingly fascinating. The mind is baffled at the endless complexities at play, the way in which movers and shakers are overtly working for private interests, or in the pocket of a corporation. The delusion, the lies, the performances, the protesters, the teabaggers.

The teabaggers. I mean, honestly? How on earth did we get to a point in which the religious right in the US are getting themselves in a tizz over their Presidents plan to provide them with healthcare whilst at the same time naming their movement after a gratuitous sex act. It’s the kind of thing you just couldn’t write, and yet America churns this hilarity out time and time again. I suppose it would be funnier if the whole situation wasn’t so tense with one side having the flames of hatred fanned by egotistical maniacs with no foresight other than to further their career.

Of course the teabaggers have rebranded themselves as of late, they’re now a Glenn Beck creation by the name of the 9/12 project. Apparently he wants to replicate that feeling people felt the day after 9/11, on the 12th of September 2001, a day when everyone on the planet seriously asked the question, “is this the beginning of ultimate chaos?” I guess that feeling of impending madness and chaos is the feeling Glenn Beck is trying to raise from the dead? This is the guy that cried himself into a stupor live on television. This is the guy who joked about his collegue’s wife having a miscarriage. This is the man who told his viewers that Barack Obama had a “deep seated hatred of white culture”. This is the man who boasted that he was once a compulsive liar a-moral alcoholic, but we’re to trust he doesn’t lie now.

It’s chaos. Mother trippin chaos. At any moment you feel the US could descend into riots between people who have a clue, and people who don’t. Here in the UK our politics is about as interesting as TV Wall Brackets. Where’s our 9-12 project? If only for laughs…
