Election day is less than two months away, and West Virginia Public Broadcasting has been talking with the candidates about the issues important to your lives. Over the next few weeks, we’ll air in-depth interviews with those candidates.
Yesterday, we spoke with incumbent Senator Jay Rockefeller, a Democrat. Today we hear from challenger Jay Wolfe, a Republican from Harrison County. Wolfe shares his thoughts on energy and what he calls “West Virginia Values.”
That’s Republican Senate candidate Jay Wolfe, in an interview with producer Janet Kunicki. Look for interviews with other candidates on West Virginia Public Radio and West Virginia PBS in the coming weeks.

I noticed you removed your link for ” Why I support health care reform”. I need to show you Rasmussen Reports for Tuesday Oct. 20 2009
“Just 31% of voters rate Congress’ understanding of the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats as good or excellent, compared to 53% who feel the same about their own understanding. Forty-two percent (42%) favor the health care reform plan, while 54% oppose it. Only 18% expect the plan that emerges from Congress to be a bipartisan effort”
54% oppose it. Do you still support BHO? Or, will you come back to the Republican side and leave you rliberal thinking in the toilet where it belongs. Stop supporting the Dems and be a true conservative fiscally responsible Republican and you might stand a chance come election time. But, if you act like Olympia Snowe you’ll be no different than any other Democratic candidate, the people will see it and vote against you, because there won’t be any difference. Look at what’s gooing on in the 23 district in N.Y. and you’ll see that what the people want IS NOT a liberal Republican candidate.
